Rev. Dr. Manuel Henderson's Leadership

Rev. Dr. Manuel Henderson leads as a seasoned CME elder and currently the senior pastor of Kirkwood Temple CME. A third-generation CME, he stands on the shoulders of faithful men and women who loved Christ and served His Church. With a foundation in business administration and divinity, he has guided multiple congregations across several states over 46 years of ministry.

A third-generation CME, his father Rev. C. L. Henderson served the Louisiana Conference from 1917–1975. Ministry is his inheritance and his calling.

Served in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 8th Episcopal Districts as pastor, preacher, teacher, mentor, and servant of Christ.

Administrative Assistant to several CME bishops; active in General Conference committees and Book of Discipline revisions.
